MESSAGE
On behalf of King George’s Medical University, it gives me immense pleasure to Invite eminent radiologists, practitioners and residents from all over the world for the 22nd Annual National Conference of Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology to be held on 21-22 September 2024 with one-day pre-conference workshops on 20th September 2024.
Children need to be imaged with great care with respect to drugs, dosage, fluid volumes, friendly demeanour and not the least the sensitivity to radiation.
Stalwarts in the field of Pediatric Radiology from US, Europe, Australia and from prestigious institutions of India will be participating in the conference. I am sure that this Conference will provide a great opportunity for learning from each other coupled with the great hospitality by organizing team.
Welcome Message from the Organising Secretary
It gives me immense pleasure to invite radiologists from around the globe to participate in 22nd Annual National conference of Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology to be held on 21-22 September 2024 with one day pre-conference workshops on 20th September.
Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology is a young non-profit society formed in 2003 to promote knowledge and skill of radiological procedures amongst radiologists when examining and reporting on Children. Children’s physiology is different from adults and changes rapidly from newborn to infant to toddler and adolescents and requires a very challenging and demanding skill sets. There is also the extra concern for minimizing radiation hazard.
The 22nd Annual National Conference of ISPR aims to instill these skill sets in budding radiologists and provide a platform to the experienced radiologists for updating themselves. It will also provide an arena for exchange of ideas and opportunities to learn and work at the most prestigious institutions around the world.
The Conference will host stalwarts of Pediatric Radiology from all over India and many prestigious institutions of the World, it would be great opportunity to listen to them and interact with them.
There could not have been a better place to hold this conference than Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of India which itself is now the most populous country of the world with a large proportion of Children. Lucknow moreover has a rich tradition of culture, cuisine and architecture and the organizing committee would put forwards its best to make the experience memorable.
